Leslie Erickson and her family settled in the Green Valley area of Fairfield after retiring from the Coast Guard. Leslie Erickson is an insurance underwriter who is regarded as one of the best in her field. She is also a jewelry designer in her spare time. Leslie offers a candidate with no special interest ties and can vote on issues of importance to the Fairfield community without fear of possible financial interest forcing others to recuse themselves. The people of Fairfield deserve a respected, sincere woman who will also maintain balance on the city council.

Steven Kays successfully revitalizes Fairfield through his business incubator, California Business Center. In September 2005, the incubator supported nearly 100 organizations. By attracting, and nurturing new companies, Steve Kays helps create better paying jobs. This results in lowering crime, and commute congestion. Shorter commute times increases community involvement, and encourages people to spend their money at home, generating tax revenues. Also seeks more police officers. 	Top problems for those in Fairfield were: 75% listed our I-80/680 corridor congestion; 71% crime; 57% said housing was now too expensive; and 44% complained about our schools. However test scores in Fairfield are going up, and doing better than many other similar cities in California.

More jobs can reduce Fairfield’s two main worries: Crime and I-80/680 congestion. Business people on the city council hopefully have the experience to understand what businesses need to locate and hire in Fairfield.
